Команда Особого Назначения АНБУ (яп. 暗部, дословно «тёмная сторона») (аббревиатура от Ансацу Сэндзюцу Токусю Бутай (яп. 暗殺戦術特殊部隊 «Особая команда по тактике убийств») — спецназ, находящийся под прямым контролем кагэ. Члены AНБУ носят фарфоровые маски, имеющие форму животных, для того, чтобы выделяться среди других синоби и оставаться неузнанными. Также они имеют стандартную униформу, состоящую из черной и серой брони, защитных пластинок для рук и татуировки в виде спирали на левом плече, кроме того, они носят с собой ниндзя-то (меч ниндзя), который обычно прикрепляется к спине. Некоторые из них на стандартные униформы надевают чёрные плащи с капюшонами, в то время как лидер команды может носить плащ белого цвета. Все члены АНБУ прекрасно разбираются в анатомии человеческого тела, на основе чего были придуманны различные мощные техники, например дзюцу, парализующее противника. 4. Внимательный и рассудительный член команды генинов Звука. Благодаря его острому уму и способности быстро анализировать ситуацию он стал главным в команде. Если вы выполняете миссию в команде с этим генином, то полностью можете рассчитывать на поддержку Досу, но лишь до того момента, пока вы полезны. Став бесполезными, вы вскоре будете откинуты этим звуковиком как ненужный багаж, выброшены без всякого сожаления. Такое отношение к напарникам сложилось у Досу из-за того, что главный приоритет для него всегда имело выполнение миссии. Если этому будет мешать его собственная жизнь или жизнь товарищей, то они будут безжалостно устранены. В связи с этим может показаться, что Досу – кровожадный убийца, но на самом деле это не так. Он лишь преданный воин, готовый отдать жизнь за честь и процветание деревни Звука. В отличие от своих товарищей – Заку и Кин, он не так жесток, поэтому никогда не станет причинять лишние, по его мнению, мучения жертвам. Но, как говорил и сам Досу о звуковиках, они – самые хладнокровные убийцы. Это относится и к самому Кинуте, который убивает без всякого содрогания и сомнения. Путь шиноби обагрён кровью, и именно таким путём пошёл Досу.
5. 5 лет назад Орочимару шел по лесам страны Риса и заметил лежащего человека. Рядом с ним было еще двое: у одного была сломана шея, другой застыл в неестественной позе, согнув конечности. Один из троих был жив, и им оказался Досу Кинута.
Досу родился в семье воина из клана Кинута. Их клан был одним из двух воюющих семейств города Омусуби. В Кинуте был своеобразный способ выращивания детей: когда ребёнку исполнялось 3 года, его забирали из дома и отправляли в специальные детские группы, где они проводили все время и обучались на шиноби. Суровая атмосфера постоянных изматывающих тренировок и отсутствия опекунов воспитали в Досу такие качества, как самостоятельность и ответственность. К 12 годам он уже был достаточно крепким шиноби, которому смело можно было поручить задания средней сложности. Шиноби Кинуты часто нападали на людей из клана Догоу (вражеского клана), и Досу за это время даже убил нескольких. Так он однажды, в группе со старшими товарищами, напал на вражескую ферму близ города. Там оказалось только двое шиноби, которые могли сражаться, остальные были не войнами - женщины, дети и старики, которые обеспечивали зерном их клан в городе. Но несмотря на это Кинуты убили всех до единого, забрали зерно и подожгли ферму. И так случалось не один раз.
Но через некоторое время клан Догоу, их вечный противник, преуспел в войне, обзавёлся деньгами и нанял большой отряд наемников, вместе с которым под покровом ночи они и напали на клан Кинута. Многие просто не осознали того, что происходит. Но Досу понял это. Он быстро выбежал из дома и, увидев, что у его клана нет шансов выжить в битве с врагами, бросился прочь из города. Это заметили два наемника и направились за ним. Шиноби быстро догнали генина. Поняв, что больше смысла бежать нету, Досу остановился и посмотрел на своих преследователей.
«Щ-щенок, твой клан уже уничтожен, а вот сейчас мы убьем тебя, так что не шевелись, если не хочешь, чтобы было больно», - с ухмылкой сказал один из наемников.
Досу молча метнулся к шиноби… Саму битву он не помнит, но итогом были переломанные рёбра, сломанная поясница, потерянный правый глаз, ожоги четвертой степени по всему телу, раздробленное левое плечо, кровоточащие ранения глубиной до 20 см, литры потерянной крови и боль, огромное количество боли, сводящей с ума. Но своих врагов он уничтожил.
После того, как раненого Досу нашел Орочимару, Кинута был доставлен в медицинский центр деревни Скрытого Звука, и ему чудом сохранили жизнь. После полного выздоровления генину дали особое оружие в виде металлической перчатки, которая и стала его главным козырем в бою. Позже он решил узнать, что же случилось в Омусуби, но, придя туда, Кинута обнаружил, что весь город теперь находится под властью клана Догоу. Отметив, что вражеский клан очень ловко провёл всё нападение, он даже зауважал их, но отомстить, когда станет сильнее, было его долгом. Досу вернулся в Ото, чтобы продолжить свое служение человеку, спасшему его от смерти, человеку по имени Орочимару.
Сам Саннин не помогал ему в обучении, он тренировался в одиночестве до 15 лет, но потом была сформирована команда из Заку Абуми, Кин Тсучи и самого Досу Кинута. Они зарекомендовали себя как крайне исполнительная группа, хотя являлись только генинами. В настоящее время Досу все так же находится в этой команде и выполняет задания Орочимару.

Senritsu Hakai no Jutsu – Досу выпускает из своей перчатки широкие звуковые волны, которые врезаются в предметы и разрушают их. Если сделать эту технику, прикоснувшись к какому-то обьекту, то волны начнут разрывать обьект, начиная с места соприкосновения.
Senritsu Bunshin no Jutsu – создается клон из сконцентрированного воздуха и звука, который в два раза слабее оригинала. Можно создать только одного. При попадании по нему, клон лопается и издает очень громкий звук, повреждающий слух противника.
